Thanks to our specially equipped paint booths, we can paint any truck. In the combined paint booths, the spraying activities are followed by an ultramodern drying process. This also ensures that we can paint your truck within 5-8 working days according to a high quality standard, so that you can get back on the road quickly!

Working process of painting trucks

Prior to painting your truck, the sheet metal and other loose parts are first disassembled. This is done because rust and oxidation start in places where preservation is poor. After the dismantling process, the truck is thoroughly cleaned in our indoor washing area, which is equipped with a maintenance pit and a platform. Then the truck is sanded and rust spots are removed. After the preparation, the truck can be painted. By applying different paint and coating systems, your vehicles are not only protected, but they also get a longer life with better residual values and a professional appearance. After the truck has been painted, it returns to the assembly department. After assembly, an extensive inspection of the truck’s operation is carried out.

We can apply the desired style to your trucks like no other and we work very meticulously and professionally. By choosing quality paints from our paint supplier AkzoNobel, your truck is well protected against the extreme conditions to which trucks are exposed every day. By not only painting trucks, but also applying stickers and lettering to them, we create a unique fleet that is fully equipped with your corporate identity. A perfectly painted truck, including stickers, underlines your corporate identity and ensures recognition on the road and among your customers. At Spuiterij Gouweleeuw, we have had several small and large fleets in our paint booth in recent years. For example, from July 2020 we paint the fleet of Cosun Beet Company (former Suiker Unie). At Gouweleeuw we had the pleasure of painting no less than 27 trucks in their corporate colours for our client Saan FBN. Our spacious paint booths enable us to work efficiently and to coat up to 4 trucks in a new paint layer at the same time. 

In the accompanying video we would like to show the transformation process of these trucks. From the ‘before’ images in which the trucks can be seen in their original state, to the ‘after’ images in which they shine in the painted corporate colours of Saan FBN. Thanks to good preparation and the tight masking of the templates by our professionals, we were able to create a tight separation between the 2 different colours of Saan FBN.

Gouweleeuw is the right place for blasting and painting semi-trailers, low-loaders and semi low-loaders. Semi-trailers travel thousands of kilometres, have to load and unload and have to deal with stone chips and damage. If the paint layer is damaged, rust will eventually develop. We blast and paint the trailers from chassis to superstructure.

Work process of semi-trailer blasting

When the trailer is corroded, we blast the parts of the trailer. For optimal protection, the trailer can be flame galvanised after blasting. This prevents rust formation when paint damage has occurred. After flame galvanising, the paint systems are applied to the trailer.

Work process of semi-trailer painting

After blasting and flame galvanising, the painting of the trailer can start. First an epoxy primer is applied and then the trailer can be sprayed in the desired colour. A special chassis paint is used for the chassis of the trailer. If desired, customer lettering can be applied to the trailer. The expertise of our specialists and the high quality products ensure that your trailer looks like new again.

Paint Shop Gouweleeuw has had several small and large fleets in the spray booth in recent years. For example, from July 2020 we paint the fleet of Cosun Beet Company (former Suiker Unie).
